Master SiFu Luca Damante

Luca Damante is the 7th TG Master and personally teaches at the Gela headquarters.
It also coordinates, with the help of AWTA qualified instructors, all courses in the various provinces of Agrigento, Bari, Campofelice di Roccella, Catania, Collesano, Licata, Messina, Palermo, Ragusa, Reggio Calabria, Syracuse, Taranto, Termini Imerese and Valencia (Spain).

His first contact with the world of Wing Tsun took place in 1993 when, still twenty-one, he participated in a self-defense internship. Fascinated by this system, he practices it without interruption until he gets the appointment of an instructor. He opens his first Wing Tsun school in 1996 in Licata and subsequently also in Catania. During this new experience, the difficulties encountered for the spread of Wing Tsun are certainly not negligible: the owners of the gyms, first of all, are skeptical about the possibilities offered by this new style (still totally unknown to them). Despite the prejudices and obstacles encountered, SiFu Damante manages to establish a motivated group of students and to lay the foundations for increasing the study and dissemination of this extraordinary discipline among martial arts enthusiasts. To be able to offer ever better quality of the principles to be transmitted, he continues to participate in international seminars under the guidance of Dai SiFu Michele Stellato, his master. What was sown in those years finally paid off: thanks to Luca Damante, Wing Tsun became a consolidated reality in Sicily.
