We have almost reached the end of the A.D. 2019 and for our beloved AWTA it was another year full of commitments, events and proud satisfaction.
The AWTA now no longer needs need, because from its birth, in 2007 to today, thanks to its founder and head of school Grand Master Michele Stellato, he has succeeded in distinguishing and shining throughout the martial arts scenario in Italy and for some time also abroad.
For the management team and technicians of the whole AWTA it was never a novelty, the fact of having a more refined and clear interpretation of this “Wing Tsun” system than the G.M. Stellato was able to recognize his students through his unquestionable and recognized experience and ability.
I as an AWTA manager could be a part, but the growth and follow-up of the whole ACADEMY seems evident to me even in the eyes of non-experts.
Will it be luck?
No! Luck can be a single event or even with some optimism a certain period, but certainly not 12 years.
Being able to motivate to give enthusiasm and grow their students, who follow you for years, accompanying them to become excellent connoisseurs of the subject and also respectable teachers and even Sifu, is no small feat. Only a serious, professional and competent school can help to obtain these results and others.
Regarding the results, we must mention the most relevant of the year, that of 21 December 2019 or the presentation of the first Awta book written by the Head of School G.M. Michele Stellato.
This event took place at a famous and beautiful location in Caserta, Hotel Vanvitelli, at the conference room with the participation of many people and also with prestigious exponents of the world of sport, journalists, lawyers, doctors and politicians.
The title of the book is “Knowing to react and defend yourself”, key words and determinants for everyone, dealing with topics such as: the origins of the tsun wing, history, technical use, psychological, philosophical, physical-motor, cultural and formative, all these elements fused into substance become a homogeneous system the WT AWTA.
The book can be considered a summary of a school, a system, a thought, but the thing that stands out, already, in reading the first pages and the target, or to whom it is addressed, I think of everyone, the layman, to those who practice, but, without wanting to disrespect anyone, it can also be a starting point for those coming from other martial experiences.
The technological part is not missing, because in the book there is a section where you can watch videos, with the QR code system, of technical applications in motion.
Here is one of the reasons why the term refined was used previously, i.e. the way in which the AWTA moves is a purely technical level but also the way in which it places itself towards others and in everything it does, this is the thought of a master, this is what we want to be and on the cover of this book something of us is shown, Simple Effective and Elegant.
